Mel is a physiotherapist in Melbourne with a gymnastics background as an athlete, coach and judge, leading to a keen interest in treating sports injuries. In 2011 she was selected to attend the Men's Gymnastics Open Levels Tour of Los Angeles as both judge and physiotherapist, and in 2013 was an Australian men's gymnastics judge for the World Challenger Cup in Doha, Qatar. Mel has also coached gymnasts who have been selected for the team future gymnastics camps (junior elite athletes). Mel completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours at Monash University in 2009. After completing her degree she commenced work in the Private Practice setting working with a varied caseload, with a particular interest in adolescent sporting injuries.
Mel has done further studies in dry needling and sports physiotherapy and is very excited to be working at Physio On Collins and with the VCASS community. She will be available for consultation at our Collins Street practice and at VCASS.
