Travis has over 20 years’ clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries, back, headache and neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, postural and occupational pain and has worked as part of the Physio On Collins team since 1999.
Travis previously worked as a consultant physiotherapist at the Epworth Hospital, assisting in the rehabilitation of clients recovering from accidents and injuries, and at the Australian Ballet as a touring physiotherapist, assisting dancers with strengthening exercises and recovery from injuries. Travis regularly works with people from various sporting disciplines and levels including: Australian rules football, soccer, cyclists, track and field athletes, triathletes, and netballers. He has also been appointed as a TAC/WorkSafe approved Occupational Physiotherapist, assisting people in their recovery from vehicle accidents and work related injuries. TAC clients attending an approved Occupational Physiotherapist will have the TAC excess fee waived for physiotherapy treatment.
Travis completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) with first class honours through Latrobe University (Melbourne) in 1991, and completed post-graduate qualifications in Manipulative (Manual) Physiotherapy in 1998, also through Latrobe University. Travis has a great passion for providing physiotherapy services in Melbourne and works with clients both to regain full function and also to prevent the recurrence of injuries. His approach is very hands-on and tailored to the individual. He has a well-established reputation for getting the best results for his clients.
In his spare time, Travis likes to spend time with his family, is a keen cyclist, open water swimmer and is dedicated to making his home more environmentally sustainable.
