During the Covid-19 restriction period, Physio on Collins is running virtual exercise classes to help our clients stay fit, healthy and manage their injuries through exercise-based rehabilitation.
We currently have the following class types available:
ONLINE LIVESTREAM MAT PILATES CLASSES
To adapt to the current COVID-19 situation, we are now offering online mat Pilates classes through Zoom so that you can still exercise with us live from the comfort and safety of your home. We have carefully crafted these sessions to be as close to the personalised service and attention you’d normally get in studio.
How do I book and attend a livestream class?

Follow the booking prompts.
An email will be sent to you within the hour prior to your class. It will contain a link for the Zoom call. If you cannot find the email, check your spam or junk folder.
Log in at the class start time and your instructor will take you through your work out. Please let the instructor know if you have any injuries.
Zoom can be downloaded from your app store on mobile devices (phones or tablets) or when you first use Zoom on a laptop.
Do I need any equipment?
A mat or towel on the floor is the only equipment you need.
If you have a Thera-band, foam roller or small hand or ankle weights, you can incorporate these into the exercises. Your instructor will guide you through how and when to use your equipment.
For those of you with balance or mobility concerns, it may be handy to have a chair or a wall nearby for balance and standing exercises.

Virtual Advanced DANCE Strength and Conditioning Classes
Our Virtual Classes will be run by our VCASS dance physiotherapists Melanie Jenkins and Amelia Linane. They will be bringing their knowledge directly to you in the comfort of your own home. These Virtual Classes will be designed to support your virtual dance sessions and help to keep you active while you are unable to attend all of your usual face-to-face classes and activities. Dance conditioning sessions will focus on a mixture of Pilates, strength and stretching exercises. Please ensure that you have:
a Pilates ball
a foam roller
small towel and
your shoes close by
All sessions will be 60 minutes in duration with a maximum of 15 participants per group.
